On a recent Tuesday morning, the owners of a 2010 Lincoln Town Car discovered their vehicle was missing from their Ormond Beach, FL driveway. The LoJack® system they had installed when purchasing their vehicle proved to be a smart investment. With LoJack’s help, local law enforcement recovered the Town Car later that same day.

On February 25th, 2014, the Lincoln’s owner contacted the Ormond Beach PD to report that their vehicle was stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers/ The LoJack device concealed in the Town Car, which was installed at Long Beach Lincoln Mercury in Long Beach, CA, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, officers from the Ormond Beach PD picked up the silent homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The Lincoln was located in a mobile home park, in a private car port. One suspect was arrested, and the Town Car was retrieved and soon returned to its relieved owner.
